Plenty at the squarre new flat

We are running a year-long programme of workshops, skill swaps, produce exchanges, fruit shares... and

...generally having fun exploring the possibilities of surplus, locally grown and overlooked produce.

Join in, get your sleeves rolled up, share and learn new techniques or come along for great food and fun.

Late Night Openings & Events

Workshops

Join us for a relaxed evening exploring lacto fermentation.  This traditional technique harnesses naturally occuring micro-organisms to preserve and pickle vegetables and other foods.

We will taste and make a range of pickles and fermented drinks including sauerkraut, kimchi and kefir.

The workshop will take place at South Square Centre, Thornton

between 6.00pm and 9.00pm

Cost £30 per person - including snacks and drinks and all ingredients. Ingredients will be sourced as surplus from St Jmes Wholesale Market as part of our ethos to reduce waste.  Products will be designed around the surplus fruit and veg collected that week.
